Located on the south side of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Argyll is a residential area that sits between the two branches of the Mill Creek Ravine. The ravine forms the border of both the west and north east sides and Argyll Road forms the south and south eastern boundaries.

Mill Creek Ravine fronts the south west border of Avonmore, a residential area in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The south east borders Argyll Road, a major thoroughfare in the city of Edmonton. 76th Avenue fronts the northern edge and 75th Avenue the east.

Established in the 1950s, Capilano sits in the south east of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and overlooks the lovely North Saskatchewan River valley. Crawford Plains
Crawford Plains sits in the Mills Woods district of south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and is a part of the Southwood community. The south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada neighbourhood of Ellerslie may be one of the newest areas in the city but it already has its claim to fame. Forest Heights
Forest Heights in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada was created prior to the end of World War II. On its southern border, 98th Avenue leads to the James MacDonald Bridge which funnels into the Government Centre area of downtown and the Rossdale neighbourhood.
That same avenue also leads to the Low Level Bridge which gives access to the downtown core. Overlooking the Mill Creek Ravine, the residential neighbourhood of Hazeldean is located in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Jannie May Jackson made history in 1912 when she joined the Edmonton Police Department, thus becoming the first female officer in Canada. The triangle shaped Kiniski Gardens is in the Mill Woods area of south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and is the namesake of the 1960s political figure Julia Kiniski. Maple Ridge
The Maple Ridge mobile home park is located in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and is framed by industrial zones on all sides. At last count the population numbered 1564 residents. The western border is 17th Street and the southern border is 61st Avenue. The north is framed by 66th Avenue and the eastern end is located to the west of Meridian Street.

Menisa
In the Cree language, the word menisa means “berries”. The Menisa neighbourhood in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada bears that name. It is part of the Mill Woods portion of the city. The southern border is Anthony Henday Drive; the north is framed by Mill Woods road, the east by 66th Street and the west by 80th Street.

Located in the Mill Woods area of south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the residential neighbourhood of Meyokumin is part of the Millhurst district. Meyokumin is the Cree word for “good water”.

Meyonohk is part of the Mill Woods community of Lakewood and is located in south Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The neighbourhood’s name means “ideal spot” in the Cree language. Michaels Park
Located in the Millbourne community of Mill Woods, Michaels Park sits in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Millwoods
The Mill Woods district in the southern part of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada made history as the first area to use a ring road system rather than the conventional grid. Eight communities make up the district; Millhurst, Millbourne, Lakewood, Southwood, Burnewood, Knottwood, Ridgewood and Woodvale.
All of these communities are connected by a major ring road. Mill Woods Road circles along the east, south and west and 38th Avenue frames the northern boundary. Mill Woods Park is the site of the annual Canada Day celebration each July 1st. Built on what was once the Papaschase Cree Indian Reserve, this district has the makings of a stand alone community but is very much an integral part of the city of Edmonton.

Minchau
Named for a Prussian immigrant that settled in the Mill Woods area in the late 1800s, Minchau is located in southern Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. August Minchau, who in 1894 made a daring escape from Russia with his family on the S. S. Samaritan bound for Halifax, was also honoured by the naming of the single elementary school in the neighbourhood.
The western border is 50th Street and the southern is 35th Avenue. The Mill Creek Ravine fronts the north east boundary. Ottewell
Named for the Ottewell family, one of the original settlers in the area, this large residential area in south east Edmonton, Alberta, Canada got its start shortly after the end of World War II. Over 86% of the homes were built within the first fifteen years after the war and the neighbourhood was considered complete by 1980. Golden Homes was one of the major builders in the area. Many of the homes brought on the market in the 1960s are today worth roughly twenty times their original asking price.

Pollard Meadows

Richfield

Named for Ritchie Mill, the former mayor of the City of Strathcona and original owner of the Ritchie Mill, this southeast Edmonton, Alberta, Canada neighbourhood offers good access to nearby shopping, dining and nightlife.
